Privacy Policy
Effective 15 July 2026. The Flight Brief is published by Off The Ground Marketing in Brisbane, Australia. Joey Pehrson is the accountable publisher.
Information currently collected
The publisher contact form accepts a name, email address, optional company, inquiry type, and message. The website host and email provider may also process routine security and delivery records needed to serve the site and transmit that message.
The newsletter signup form accepts an email address for the purpose of sending the weekly Flight Brief digest. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email. Advertising and sponsorship enquiries are accepted via the contact form or the email address on the advertise page. Job listing and business directory features are not currently active.
How contact information is used
Contact-form information is used to read and respond to the submitted inquiry, assess story evidence, a tip, or a correction, maintain a necessary correspondence record, and protect the form from abuse. It is not sold or used to enrol a sender in a newsletter without a separate signup.
Service providers and international processing
The site relies on hosting and email-delivery providers. Information submitted through the contact form may therefore be processed or stored outside the sender's country under those providers' terms and safeguards. Provider access is limited to operating those services.
Analytics and cookies
This release does not load Google Analytics, advertising tags, or an advertising network. Analytics will remain disabled until the publication has a consent mechanism and a policy that matches the deployed configuration. Essential hosting and security logs may still be created when a page is requested.
Retention and choices
Contact records are retained only while they are reasonably needed for the inquiry, a related editorial or legal record, security, or an applicable obligation. A person may ask what contact information the publisher holds about them, request a correction, or request deletion; some records may need to be retained where the publisher has a lawful reason to do so.
